XXL

XXL is a French television channel that is part of the Thematic Netherlands BV group. This channel broadcasts its programmes every night from 10.30 p.m. to 5 a.m.

XXL began its programming at 10: 30 pm from 1999 with either an erotic film, or talk shows or magazines, sometimes animated by former pornographic actresses (forbidden under the age of 16). From midnight onwards, it broadcasts two pornographic films (banned under the age of 18), the second of which is a rerun of the previous week. It broadcasts a gay movie every Tuesday at midnight. And an amateur film every Wednesday at midnight. From 3: 05 a.m. to 5: 00 a.m., the station broadcasts an erotic television program (forbidden to children under 16). Its programming ends at 5 o'clock in the morning.

On 24 December 2013, XXL, a chain of the AB group, was sold to Thematic Netherlands BV, an association which brought together, among others, an executive of the AB Group and the Marc Dorcel Group (a minority shareholder). Marc Dorcel is entrusted with the editorial management of the channel and its VOD services.
